ABOUT CLAIRE
I specialise in creating relational portraits and stories for creative minded professionals. Whether photographing an entrepreneur, an artist, or crafting a lifestyle series for a brand, my skill is to reveal a person’s character in a way that feels relatable and emotionally engaging.
Before becoming a professional photographer, I spent years in the music industry shaping visual narratives for pop artists. This experience gave me a unique understanding of how to balance an artistic vision with the practical needs of clients.
Driven to explore the motivations that drive us, I studied child psychology and Transpersonal psychotherapy. My deep curiosity about people informs every aspect of my work.
Whether documenting your face, craft, space, or the heartbeat of your business, I will ensure you feel represented in a way that resonates, and we’ll have fun in the process.
My work has been featured in numerous publications and a collaboration with The Temple Gallery on The Art of Meditation, is now a beautiful book.
Based in West London, with my film maker husband and mini Schnauzer, I will travel anywhere for a good story.
I am currently working on a very personal project that seeks amplify the stories of women, using creativity as a means to heal, grow and overcome adversity - this project is inspired by my own journey into photography after profound loss. To hear more, sign up below.
“Claire has an amazing gift of being able to tune in to people she is working with and knows exactly how to get the best from them while creating the most beautiful photos. She put me at ease and had great creative suggestions. The whole experience was really enjoyable and I LOVE the photos”.
Natacha Ledwidge - Artist
“I have worked with Claire many times. Her curiosity about life and people defines her creative work. She is technically brilliant but her intuitive approach and safe haven that she establishes with her subject sets her apart”.
Sarah Lewis - Artist/Filmmaker
“Claire’s taken shots of me many times. I don’t like being in front of the camera, but shooting with her was relaxed, inspiring and fun - there’s a playfulness and integrity in the the images that reflects that”.
Johnny Daukes - Author/Film Director
