the way i was.

I grew up in London, next to the famous Abbey Road studios. It was a great place for a kid with a camera and an interest in people.

Home was happiest when filled with animals and there were many - we had a slow worm, a family of mice, many cats, always a dog, a rabbit called Canonball, a tortoise, a couple of lovebirds and an angry parrot. My best friend was a dopey Dalmation called Sinbad.

One of my favourite hang outs was my uncle’s chocolate brown studio - he was a prolific portrait and fashion photographer and took all our family portraits, inspiring me to follow a creative path.

My working life began in the music industry where I marketed pop bands and commissioned photographers to make the artists look as good, if not better, than they sounded.

Curious about people and the way we relate, I studied child psychology and Transpersonal psychotherapy, before settling on photography.

the way i am.

I’ve photographed pop stars, actors, dancers, filmmakers, models, designers, CEO’s, secret service agents etc. and many, many kids. My work has been published in magazines and a book - The Art Of Meditation.

After years of making portraits, my curiosity turned towards documenting the connections between people and their tribe, people and their work, as well as people and their pets. Human stories essentially,

I want to make photos that matter, full of warmth and humour, to tell stories that make you feel something; the quiet moments and the authentic, laugh out loud ones.

I live in West London with my film maker husband and mini Schnauzer, I love to explore new places and will happily travel to work with you.

If you are curious for me to tell your story, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
